Urban Art

2nd part from the Brave show @ the Ayden gallery. I wasnt able the stick around to see the final painting. If anyone can email me the painting I will include them into the video.

Just wanted you all to know I have another 2 videos coming. I just finished editing the 2nd half to the Brave Art show and am starting on the Lowbrow. I just found the music I will be using for the Lowbrow, so that should go fairly quickly.

A VW Van I bumped into while walking down to Gastown during the summer. I knew I had to get some footage of it, even though I was running late for a appointment. I was covered in hundreds of stickers. Plus a few extras..  check it out

Local artist Don Dingwall, I meet on Craigs List. A remarkable man.

Here is Brave video. Had fun @ the event. Paniced @ first because the camera I borrowed from VFS ate one of my tapes. So I wasted about 1 hr, but got up and running and got most of the event on tape.

I will be releaseing another video from the event about the 3 painters they had live. Should be good.

My partner/friend Mike is back from Auz. He and family were gone for 6 wk holiday. I hope he shot some video while over there…..

I went to the show on Friday, Saw lots of great art, I bought the Lowbrow doc DVD. I havnt had a chance to watch it yet. Hope too today. Its a little slow @ work right now. I hope to have the video done and posted next tuesday morning.

Im very excited, I just finished the Brave show cut. Im just CC (color correcting) it right now and hope to have it posted tommorow morning. Showed it Shelley (wife) and she said it best yet. I will leave it up to YOU to leave me comments on your opinion.

Also it will be a 2 part video. 2nd half will be t just on the 3 artists that were there painting live during the show. Stay tuned.

434 is a Vancouver skate shop. They had a art show for the local art scene. I shot this June and it been sitting on my drive waiting to get chopped up.

The Brave show was fun. Alot of great art and people @ the event. I xchanged cards with a few people interested in the videos we have been producing. I ran into Paulus who is involved with Thick Magazine. He is going to try to help me out with contacting some Vancouver based music talent.

Thats one of the most time cosuming thing for me is locating music I can use for the videos and not get trouble.

The above photo was ripped from Luckyfish . I was so busy shooting video I forgot to take photos. She was kind enough to help me out.

I hope to have the video for this event cut and posted late next week.
